Baking: Recipe for a farmer's bundt cake

A cake that is too brown doesn't taste good and doesn't look pretty. But what to do if it's not done on the inside yet, but is already turning brown on the outside? Here we have a few first-aid tips to keep the cake from burning:

Baking paper on cake

If the cake is not yet done on the inside, but the crust is already very brown, place a piece of baking paper on the cake. This way, the cake won't brown any further on the outside and you can finish baking it.

Bowl of cold water

To make the Cake doesn't get too brown or burns, place a heat-resistant Bowl of cold water in the oven, the steam protects the cake.

Extra tip: If the cake has become much too brown, you can scrape off the dark spots with a grater or a knife. It is best to decorate this cake somehow: with powdered sugar, sprinkles, or a thick glaze. That way, no one will notice the mishap.
