To save space in the kitchen cupboard, we often stack glasses inside each other, but then suddenly we can't get them apart. With this tip, it's done very quickly:
When one glass is stuck inside another
Fill the upper glass with cold water and place the lower one in hot water at the same time. Because one glass contracts and the other expands, you can easily separate them again.
The greater the temperature difference between the cold and the warm water, the easier it is to separate the glasses. Tip: fill the upper glass with ice cubes and then let cold water run in up to the rim. Place the lower glass in a bowl and add hot water from the tap. Let this mixture work for a few minutes, then you can easily pull the glasses apart. Why? Due to the temperature difference, the glass works and expands or shrinks a little. This makes it easier to loosen the glasses again.
