Eating cherries is not only popular with children. The red fruits taste wonderfully sweet and, incidentally, it is great fun to pick them directly from the tree. Every now and then, a stain can unfortunately find its way onto your clothes. Unfortunately, these are very difficult to get out. Here we have a tip on how you can try it:
Remove cherry stains
Soap and milk
Cherry stains on items of clothing can be removed quite easily if you wash them in Soapy water beforehand, and then place them in Milk. The stain will then fade little by little.
Salt
Salt absorbs moisture very well, so sprinkle simple table salt on the fresh stain. Cover the stain completely with salt until the moisture has been absorbed. Then brush off the salt and wash the garment as usual.
Mineral water
Sparkling water should work very well here. Soak the garment in sparkling mineral water overnight and wash as usual the next day.
Condensed milk
Put a few drops of condensed milk on the stain and let it soak in; the fats will dissolve the stain. Then wash the stain out with sparkling water, or if it is a carpet, dab the area with sparkling water. Then wash the garment as usual or dab the carpet dry again.
Sparkling water and salt
If the cherry stain has already dried, first soak the garment in sparkling water. Then apply plenty of salt to the affected area and let it soak in for a while. Then brush off the salt and wash the laundry item normally. If the stain is on a carpet and a salt rim has formed, brush it off with a brush and vacuum the area well.
