When there is a noticeably large amount of hair on the bathroom floor, the brush has more hair than your head, and your hair is thinning in the typical places, one thing is clear: you are affected by hair loss. While some people naturally have plenty of good quips ready, such as "Where intelligence grows, hair must go!", many of those affected are not in the mood for laughing at all. People desperately look for all kinds of remedies to give their hair more fullness. But this endeavor also entails many other consequences – namely, exorbitant spending.

However, you don't have to rush to pharmacies and drugstores right away to test every lotion and shampoo. In fact, there are many home remedies that also work against hair loss.

The 10 best tips against hair loss

  1. Avoid animal fats, white flour products, sugary drinks, an excess of sugar, coffee, black tea, and, of course, alcohol. These foods and stimulants often lead to an over-acidification of the body, which is frequently rewarded with hair loss.
  2. Stress is not only bad for the soul, it can also lead to dandruff and a greasy scalp. Our hair, in turn, does not find this pleasant at all and falls out.
  3. 200 g nettle root, ½ liter vinegar, and 1 liter water mixed together and boiled for approx. 30 minutes. This should then be rubbed into the scalp 3 times a week.
  4. Mix the juice of one lemon with a tablespoon of olive oil and rub it into the scalp two to three times a week to stimulate the scalp as best as possible.
  5. Additionally, wash your hair once a week with beer. This treatment not only adds shine to your mane but also stimulates the hair follicles. Simply let the beer soak in well, wash it out thoroughly after half an hour, and wash as usual – don't worry: this treatment leaves no unpleasant odors.
  6. Chop an onion very finely and mix it with a little honey. This paste is best applied to the scalp in the evening, covered skillfully with a towel, and left on overnight. This allows the active ingredients of the onion and honey to work excellently on the scalp. In the morning, remove the cap and wash your hair thoroughly.
  7. Stop smoking! Nicotine constricts the blood vessels, which means that the tiny vessels, especially in the scalp, can no longer transport blood to the hair roots. Consequently, nutrients are lacking and the roots wither – hair loss is inevitable.
  8. Get yourself alkaline tea from the pharmacy and prepare a mixture according to the package instructions. The balance of acids and bases in the body is restored, which also benefits the hair on your head.
  9. Contact your Dermatologist and have your scalp examined. Perhaps a fungal infection or another cause is the root of the hair loss.
  10. Mix a fresh egg and some wheat germ oil into a special hair tincture, which you should use once a week. The active ingredients stimulate and invigorate the hair root.

If nothing else helps, you should also consult your trusted doctor and have your iron levels in the blood checked. Iron deficiency can, among other things, also cause hair loss. Through a special therapy, the loss can be counteracted.
