Hang up children's artworks with a fishing net

As parents, you are so proud of the beautiful works of art that your children paint for you. Over time, however, there are more and more of them, and soon you have no more space to display or hang them up. I didn't want to keep punching holes in the walls to mount hooks. That's why I would like to introduce an idea here on how you can easily hang up pictures and crafts, and above all, take them down again.

Hang up children's artworks with a fishing net

What you need:

• Fishing net or coarse-meshed curtain
• Clothespins (e.g., with fun motifs)
• Picture hooks
• Hairspray
• Children's artwork
• Possibly decoration material for the net, such as small fish, shells, starfish, etc.

Hanging up the fishing net:

First, stretch the fishing net over the wall and see how you would like to hang it. It is best to mark the points with a pencil. Use a hammer to drive the 2 nails and hooks into the wall.

Now you can simply hang up the fishing net and mount the pictures and crafts using the clothespins.

I bought both Fishing net as well as the Clothespins on Amazon. Clothespins come in so many variations; I chose clothespins with animal motifs. The children liked them very much, and they were very eager to pick out and hand over the clips and the corresponding pictures.

I think this method is great because we can simply hang up the crafts or pictures and also easily take them down again.

Extra tip: Always fix every drawing and painting with hairspray. This helps to ensure that the colors do not fade or even come off completely.
