Is the elastic waistband of your favorite sweatpants worn out? That's no reason to throw them away. With this trick, you can easily replace the Rubber band:
Replace elastic band
What you’ll need:
- Safety pin
- new elastic band
Instructions:
Attach the new band to the end of the old band with a Safety pin. Now pull on the other end of the elastic band and the new elastic band will be pulled in automatically.
You can also renew elastic bands in lingerie or underwear using this method. However, if you don't have a safety pin handy, you can also use a standard Paper clip. Advantage:Unlike a safety pin, a paperclip bends less and also does not deform the new elastic band as much.
