You can avoid the kohl pencil ending up on the floor – but how can you sharpen your kohl pencil in the best possible way?
Tips for Eyeliner Pencil Lovers
- Of course, the quality of the kohl pencil is decisive. Since you don't have to buy a new kohl pencil every week, you shouldn't save money in the wrong place here. This way, annoyances in front of the cosmetic mirror don't even arise in the first place.
- A pencil sharpener is not a good solution. These are not at all suitable for kohl pencils. You can get special sharpeners in shops and drugstores – also called cosmetic sharpeners. With a price of approx. €2, you have an ideal sharpener that is not too expensive at all.
- If you generally store the kohl pencil in the refrigerator, the tip breaks off less often. For emergencies, the freezer compartment is suitable. Simply wrap the kohl pencil without the protective cap in a cosmetic tissue and place it in the cooling unit for half an hour. Afterwards, you can sharpen the pencil without any problems.
For those who don't feel like this procedure: there are kohl pencils with a twist function. These do not need to be sharpened, but are simply twisted using a mechanism when needed, and a fresh piece of lead appears.
