Silverfish are harmless, but not really nice to look at in the apartment. Here is an alternative tip to the chemical club:
Combating silverfish
Spices
These little creatures do not like spices: Fill some nutmeg, allspice and cinnamon into small fabric bags and place them in the affected rooms.
orange peels
Silverfish also do not like the smell of oranges. You can fill dried orange peels into a small bag and hang or place it in the affected room.
Glue traps
In case of a severe silverfish infestation, glue traps help.
Note: if the silverfish still do not disappear, mold damage in the wall or behind the wallpaper could be the cause. This must be checked.
Ventilate well
Silverfish love damp, warm areas. The kitchen and bathroom in particular seem to be main hotspots. Therefore, these rooms should be ventilated particularly well. Do not let damp towels dry here either.

Great tips, I only knew that silverfish cannot stand the scent of lemon and lavender.
