Bundesbad Alte Donau
The bathing beach welcomes visitors with a wooden jetty and plenty of space for sun lovers. You can enter the cool water via two wooden steps and two ladders; after sufficient cooling off, children can while away the time on the playground, on the wooden ship or with water play equipment. Parkbad Schönkirchen-Reyersdorf
The generously laid-out outdoor pool has existed since its opening in 1968 and features a large swimming pool, a diving tower with 3m and 5m boards as well as a non-swimmer pool with a slide and a baby swimming pool. The 22 m long water slide is particularly popular. The sunbathing area of 1 ha offers enormous space for relaxing and sunbathing or for ball games.
There is a small restaurant at the outdoor pool where you can buy snacks, ice cream and drinks. Plenty of lockers and changing cabins are located right near the pools, as are the toilets and showers.

Podersdorf – Swimming in Lake Neusiedl
The beach brings on a holiday feeling. Waves, water sports, swimming and splashing, play and fun – a paradise for families with children and a dream destination for water sports fans. Here you can enjoy the lake and explore the beach. It's not called the 'sea of the Viennese' for nothing. Spending the day there feels like a beach holiday for us and it's not really far from Vienna.
If you want to visit the beach with children, be sure to head for the 'South Beach' entrance. At this entrance a paradise for children has been created. There are several playgrounds for every age group. In the water there are some jetties where the children can climb around and jump in. Because the water is very shallow, children can splash nicely in the water without it getting deep quickly. A highlight for older children is definitely the water playground. The sanitary facilities are also great; there are always toilets (with seat cleaning!), diaper changing rooms and changing cabins nearby. Due to the tall trees there is shade almost everywhere and you don't have to lug umbrellas around.
