Children love celebrating their birthday. The cake, the presents, the singing – all of that is something very special for children. Unfortunately, the invitation list often gets far too long and the space in the apartment far too small. A good option is to celebrate the birthday away from home. But where can you celebrate a children's birthday party in the Gänserndorf district and the surrounding area? I did some research and found a wide variety of options for celebrating a children's birthday party nicely in the Gänserndorf district:

There is enough space here for games, dancing and letting off steam for the little birthday guests. 2 different parties are offered: Hip/Hop party dances or rope skipping. The parties are organized and supervised by trained and certified gymnastics trainers.

Gänserndorf – Old gymnasium of the secondary school

The old gymnasium of the middle school in Gänserndorf can be rented for birthdays, weddings, or various events. The room is nice and large and looks really good – not like a gymnasium, I think. There is a school kitchen with a sink and dishwasher that can be rented as well. There are also tables and chairs, which you can either set up yourself or have set up for you. Additionally, there is a small stage, a cloakroom, 2 restrooms (ladies and gentlemen), and a beautiful inner courtyard.

Conclusion:We celebrated our milestone birthday here and I am very enthusiastic about the old gymnasium. It is really nicely decorated and no longer looks like a gymnasium at all, because there is a beautiful floor, curtains, and great lighting. Everything was available; we could set up tables and chairs, use the kitchen with the dishwasher, and also decorate very easily. It was also nice that you could go into the inner courtyard through a door, ideal for smokers and fresh air fanatics. The reservation was very uncomplicated; we were allowed to look at the room in advance and reserved it immediately for our desired date. I can highly recommend the Old Gymnasium for celebrations; we had a really great party there.

Gänserndorf – Volkshaus

In Gänserndorf, the Volkshaus can also be rented for a children's birthday party. Here are the details:

Offer: The Volkshaus consists of two rooms, the first room being somewhat smaller and equipped with a complete kitchen. The second room is considerably larger and is ideal as a playroom.  Tables and chairs are available and can be used. The Volkshaus is at ground level and has a ramp as well as a large door, so we were also able to get in with our twin stroller.

Conclusion: We have already been invited here to a wonderfully organized birthday party and it is really very practical and spacious. Thanks to the two rooms, you have one room where the table can be set up and in the other the children can let off steam or games can be organized. There is a large cloakroom in the foyer, where strollers can also be parked; everything is at ground level and easily accessible. There are also a few parking spaces in front of the Volkshaus.

Gänserndorf – Adventure gymnasium of the primary school

In the gymnasium of Gänserndorf Primary School, the adventure hall can be rented for a children's birthday party including a trainer. This gymnasium is equipped with a foam pit and trampoline, as well as many apparatuses. The adventure gymnasium is offered through SV Marchfelder Bank Gymnastics and can be conveniently booked via the website, always on Saturday afternoon or all day Sunday.

Conclusion: We have attended a birthday party here several times and have now celebrated here ourselves very often. Our children are always thrilled. For children it is wonderful to throw themselves into the large, soft foam pit. The trampoline was also a big hit, where 2 children were always allowed to jump together. The children could romp around here to their hearts' content and it is really great. Even the adults dared to jump into the foam pit. A clear recommendation from us to burn off energy here for a few hours. The trainers were also really great and knew how to keep the children nicely occupied. I can highly recommend it.

Extra tip: By arrangement, the cake brought along may also be eaten in the changing room, just not in the gymnasium.

Lassee – Soft paintball for children

In Lassee near Vienna, little heroes can spend a children's birthday party playing soft paintball. The difference from normal paintball is that the paintballs are significantly smaller and the markers shoot with significantly less power. The children receive masks and protective vests for the upper body.

The 4 unique paintball playing fields in Lassee cover a total of almost 10,000 m² and offer something for every taste: either natural thickets of trees and bushes in “The Jungle,” abandoned vehicles or shelters in “The Day After,” protective remains of walls in “The Leftover,” or leftover wooden posts in “The Battlefield.” At the headquarters, cool drinks can be taken for refreshment, and in warm temperatures the swimming pond right next door provides cooling off. There are several large tables at the headquarters and a grill can be used by arrangement.

Conclusion: Short version: Brilliant! For the children (including the girls), it was a major highlight. Because paintball is not just about shooting around; team spirit, strategy and finesse are required here. The fields are simply brilliant; you can hardly decide which is best, as each has its advantages. Our children liked all of them very much, but perhaps “The Jungle” just a tiny bit more. The process at Fun-Paintball was great and really professional; the children were well equipped and there was a great briefing, then they were off. Our children were so enthusiastic that there were only ever short breaks. Right by the fields there are covered tables and benches where you can set up the birthday table. If you like, you can also grill here, as a grill may be used. We were very impressed and will be back – Clear recommendation!!

Gänserndorf – Stindl sports and tennis hall

The new and modern Stindl sports and tennis hall offers rooms for a children's birthday party. The large room upstairs is 170 m² and offers enough space for the children and various games. The room is nice and large and is excellent if an additional program, such as a magician, dance lesson, etc., is planned for the children. Power connections for connecting music boxes or other technical devices are available.

The 2nd area is also upstairs and is equipped with a television. This area is open with a view of the tennis courts on the ground floor.

Strasshof – Indoor playground at Ideenbäckerei Geier

In Strasshof, Ideenbäckerei Geier provides a room with an indoor playground for children. In the basement of the confectionery in Strasshof, children's hearts will leap, because here they can slide into a ball pit to their hearts' content or build with very large Lego bricks. For a birthday party, a birthday table with a surprise cake is prepared for the little guests, and they are allowed to bake like a baker once. The children may even take the baked goods home with them. On request, the bakery will organize a pedagogically trained supervisor for the birthday party, who will play age-appropriate games with the birthday guests.

The supervisor costs an additional € 27,– for 2 hours or € 40.50 for 3 hours.

Offer: In the basement of Ideenbäckerei Geier, there are two slides with a ball pit, giant Lego bricks, large rubber animals, rubber mats, small seats – for the birthday party, small tables and benches are set up. The room is large and there is still enough space for games such as pot banging, etc. The only drawback: the room is not closed off for the birthday, so it can happen that many children are already playing here or more join in.

Conclusion: We have already been here for a birthday party and our children were absolutely thrilled. First, rolls and croissants are baked in the demonstration bakery with real baker's aprons. Then the children are allowed to go to the indoor playground in the basement, and that was the highlight for our children. The slide with the ball pit was extremely popular with the children. The room in the basement is large and furnished in a child-friendly way. For refreshment there was a children's table with lovely decoration and a delicious surprise cake. At the end, the children were also allowed to take their baked goods home. Our children really enjoyed this birthday party, and I personally also thought this birthday celebration was very successful.

Extra tip: This room is too small for a children's birthday party with lots and lots of children. A birthday party with older children (from 5 years) can also get a bit wild. Here you should think up a small program, e.g. games where the children can win prizes, etc., or choose a location where all the children can really let off steam. Maybe even make use of the entertainment for children's birthday parties; Geier offers that as well. Personally, I also don't think it is so great that the room is not reserved for the birthday party, so it can happen that children are already there or more come in.

Weydener-Wirtshaus in Oberweiden

At Weydener-Wirtshaus, an event hall for up to 110 people is available. The beautifully renovated ballroom has a stage, a bar and an immediately adjoining garden of 300 m² for letting off steam. Various music connections and speakers are available for music, and toilets are also right upstairs. On request, the table can be decorated according to personal taste. The hall is nice and large and is excellent if an additional program, such as a magician, dance lesson, etc., is planned for the children. On request, a buffet, rustic pan meal or delicious dishes can complete the birthday party.

Cost: Nothing is charged for the hall if drinks or food are consumed. Birthday cakes may be brought along. But there are also delicious desserts from Weydener Wirtshaus; best discussed personally. Matching decorations are also offered, for which a small cost may be incurred.

Conclusion: We did not celebrate a children's birthday here, but a birthday for a young-at-heart friend, and we were delighted. The room is very large and was ideal for a celebration with 21 people, including children. The table was decorated by Weydener Wirtshaus in our desired colors, and we additionally rented a dance teacher who conducted dance training for us. Music connections are available and it was also allowed to get a little louder. We ate lunch there; the food is really very good and the service very friendly and fast. We were allowed to bring our own birthday cake, but there would also have been tasty desserts. They are really very flexible here and it was already great fun planning the event together. I can highly recommend Weydener Wirtshaus for events.

Cinema in Deutsch Wagram

The cinema in Deutsch-Wagram can be rented for a birthday. Here you can choose between just the hall or complete technical support.

Glinzendorf – Children's birthday party at Biohof Adamah

For children from 4 years old, the birthday can be celebrated at Biohof Adamah. The selection at the organic farm is large, because there is a wide-ranging program for party guests here: painting, crafts, potato race, apple bobbing, face painting, sack race or farm activity, as well as letting off steam at the adventure playground and petting the animals. A special additional program can also be booked in addition to the basic package: the children can bake an organic pizza themselves, conjure up an organic witch smoothie, make organic soaps, do organic gardening, make organic bird food, make organic fruit gummies, watch a children's magic show, take part in a treasure hunt, visit a clown show, or watch a Punch and Judy show.

If you like, you can also order a birthday cake for the children to eat at the birthday party, and special decorations that can be arranged by Biohof Adamah.

Little train drivers will be amazed when they are allowed to ride along on a small locomotive and view the garden model railway layouts during the children's tour. For an additional charge, a railway cake with a fountain candle can be ordered. Snack and drinks are included in the flat rate.

Matzen – Ice rink

In the winter months, the birthday can be celebrated at the ice rink in Matzen. The artificial ice rink is frost-proof and can be used from October to March. For small children, aids such as large movable penguins are available for them to hold on to. Ice skates can also be rented. Right next door is a buffet with toilet facilities. It is open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on weekends, public holidays and during school holidays from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Großhofen – Pony riding with Ponybande for a children's birthday party

For children from 3 years old who have always wanted ponies, a children's birthday party at Ponybande in Großhofen is a good option. Here the children can pet the ponies and even ride them. At a children's birthday party at Ponybande, the children can take care of the ponies: petting and grooming them. In addition, a guided pony ride and a pony carriage ride (only for children!) are included. Depending on the time required, games for boys and girls can also take place. There are also dogs and cats on the farm that may also be petted.

In the museum village in Niedersulz, the birthday child can venture on a journey back in time with max. 15 children plus 3 accompanying adults. On an exciting tour through a village like in the old days, the children playfully discover the difference from today. No electricity, no washing machine and no water pipes – life was much more strenuous. There are also big differences at school, and not everything could simply be bought in the supermarket. Many things were made by hand. That's why everyone has to pitch in.

Depending on the program, soap is made by hand or laundry is washed as in the old days. Refreshments are provided with a homemade Gugelhupf and juice at a lovingly decorated table. Right next door there is also a small playground where the children can let off steam.

Conclusion: Absolutely wonderful! Our daughter and her guests were thrilled. First, the children were allowed to take a tour through the village. We chose the program with the scented soap; it was made outside on covered tables. The children were allowed to take the finished scented soap home in bags they had decorated themselves. We had a very, very friendly lady who ran the program with the children. Then it continued in the village to the washboard, where the children were allowed to wash laundry as in the old days. Finally, the children were allowed to sit down at the lovingly decorated table and enjoy Gugelhupf (which was very good!!!) and juice. We ended the birthday at the playground. Right next to the birthday table was the restaurant, where the adults could also eat and drink very well. I am very enthusiastic about this birthday party; it was a really lovely and not at all stressful day (you don't need to bring anything at all, no decorations, nothing to eat or drink!) – I can highly recommend it!

Gänserndorf – Adventure park

Lassee – Gravel pond

Children love the water, so a birthday party at an outdoor pool or beach resort is a great option. The beach resort in Lassee is spaciously laid out, also with some trees for shade. The gravel pond is beautiful and clear, with a great lawn for lying down, as well as 2 beach volleyball courts and a buffet where you can buy food, ice cream and drinks. There are stairs or a jetty for getting into the lake, as well as a sandy beach. The beautiful sandy beach is also great for smaller children; you can even build sandcastles here. Conclusion: We spent a birthday here with 13 teenagers and it was really lovely. The children kept themselves busy the whole time, were in the lake, played beach volleyball and even built a sandcastle. My games were not necessary; the time flew by. Tallesbrunn – Pony riding for children's birthdays

A lovely children's birthday party can be celebrated at Ponyhof Nimmerland. Here you can take a carriage ride, ride ponies, paint, do crafts, do a puzzle rally, play games and much more. The children's birthday party is possible for children aged 4 and up. Bad weather cannot affect the children's birthday party, as there is a hall and a playroom. Only the carriage ride cannot be done then.

At the schlossORTH Nationalpark-Zentrum in Orth an der Donau, children can celebrate their birthday with native animals. Snakes, European pond turtles and fish can be observed in the underwater station, and the children can explore the floodplain area with rangers.

Schlosshof

At Schlosshof, children can slip into another era and celebrate like an imperial child. A separate realm has been created here for the little ones, where they can bake, play, do crafts or dance. The birthday child and their friends can take a journey back in time to the Baroque era and act in theater, dress up or play horseshoe shooting. Or you can go on an exciting puzzle rally through the grounds, where there is also a petting zoo with many lovely animals. Or perhaps the princes and princesses want to go pony riding.

Offer: The package includes admission for 10 children and 2 adults, a child-friendly guided tour as well as craft materials, a party room and the most important thing: dressing up. Wonderful costumes for small AND big kings, queens, princesses and princes are available here. In the children's area, a room is made available for a private party. A large table is provided here for the royal company, with plates, cutlery and cups. The cake and drinks must be brought along yourself. The children may paint a crown themselves and then dress up and put on makeup. When the royal company is fully dressed, a wonderful journey through time into the fascinating world of the Baroque begins. In a child-friendly way, with a few surprises and extras compared to normal guided tours, the children are guided through the palace and learn interesting things from that time. After that, it is back to the table and the gifts are presented to the birthday child – but this does not just happen like that; they are presented on the stage and the little princes and princesses are called up. If you like, you can also add extras, such as pony riding.

Conclusion: We have already been to a children's birthday party here and I have to say, I am delighted. For little princesses, this is a really, really great celebration. Wonderful long dresses with lots of details are available, and there is also plenty of beautiful noble attire for princes. The parents may also choose a Baroque costume and accompany the company. The guided tour for the children was really wonderful and very well carried out; our children were completely captivated by the secret doors and the stories.

Only small drawback: for boys, glittering noble attire may not be quite soooo interesting. Armor, for example, would be a nice addition here (and yes, it does not fit the Baroque so well, but little warriors have always existed, haven't they?)

Gänserndorf  – Tanzschule Chris

Dancing is also wonderful for children and is ideal for a lovely children's birthday party. Tanzschule Chris in Gänserndorf organizes children's birthday parties for children up to 14 years old on its premises. Trained dance teachers and instructors put together an individual program with dance, games and entertainment according to the wishes and age of the birthday guests. Parents and accompanying persons have the opportunity to relax in Café Chris during the party.

Stetten – Fossil World

A children's birthday party at the Fossilienwelt in Stetten near Korneuburg is ideal for little adventurers and researchers. It starts with an age-appropriate guided tour through the theme park. Afterwards, the little guests can sift for pearls and shark teeth in the sand bay. In bad weather, a small panning basin is available in the researchers' hut. Of course, refreshments with cake and juice are a must. The birthday can wind down at the large adventure playground.

No lead time is required for setting up props. If there is space for a circus ring 6 m wide and 6 m deep as well as 2.50 m high, Pedro will bring it along for a small surcharge. A power connection is required. A popcorn machine can also be booked. Celebrations can also be held outdoors.
