You want to get pretty and apply nail polish, and it's already happened: a nail polish stain. Now it's time to act quickly and use the right household remedies:
Remove nail polish stains
Acetone
Nail polish stains can be treated with acetone. Just do not use oil-based nail polish removers.
Caution: Do not treat acetate fibers with acetone, it will destroy the fabric!
Hydrogen peroxide
If the clothing cannot tolerate acetone, try hydrogen peroxide. To do this, apply the agent to the stain and carefully rub it off with a paper towel.
Hairspray
To do this, spray some hairspray onto a toothbrush and use it to brush the nail polish stain out of the clothing.
Rubbing alcohol or cleaning spirit
Instead of nail polish remover, rubbing alcohol or cleaning spirit can also be used. However, apply it carefully and only in very small amounts to the garment first.
