Designing your rooms with different colors is a lovely task. I find colored walls wonderful because they give rooms that certain something. Usually, the wall and the ceiling are painted in two different colors, and this is exactly where there are a few tricks to ensure it turns out really well:
Painting in different colors
What you’ll need:
- two different emulsion paints
- at least 2 paint rollers, both large and small
- possibly brushes
- Masking tape
- Pencil
- measuring tape
Instructions:
Masking tape is very helpful for painting areas in different colors. Use a pencil and measuring tape to draw the lines and mark exactly where each color should be painted, then mask it off with masking tape (available at the hardware store).
It is important to always wait long enough for the paint to dry before applying masking tape again, otherwise the whole paint will come off when you remove the masking tape.
