Untangle knots in a necklace

When a knot forms in small and especially thin chains, it is very tedious and annoying. What to do? After some research, I found this household tip and was able to untangle the knot wonderfully:

What you’ll need:

• Cooking oil
• needle

Instructions:

If the necklace has become so knotted that the knot can no longer be undone, put some cooking oil on it and let it soak in for a while. Then carefully untangle the knot with a needle.
