For many couples, their own wedding is one of the most beautiful experiences that will be remembered for a lifetime. To make this day as relaxed as possible for the bride and groom-to-be in advance, I provide support as a wedding planner some time before the big day. I have tried to answer the most frequently asked questions.
What does a wedding planner do?
My primary task is to take the stress and work off the bride and groom and their families. Every couple can decide individually where they need support. Be it in finding a suitable location for the ceremony or the celebration, or in choosing the decoration, a good photographer, or any other service provider. You can also book me just for your wedding day. I ensure a smooth process – discreetly in the background. It is important to me to realize the wishes and ideas of the bride and groom and to design their personal dream wedding together with them.
Why hire a wedding planner if my sister and mother are helping anyway?
Great if you have support from your family. However, experience has shown me that mothers are often too busy doing everything themselves to really enjoy their children's celebration. Why not leave these tasks to me as your wedding planner? I can often mediate between you and your (mother-in-)law if opinions or ideas differ.
When should the wedding planner be involved?
Best before you start your own wedding planning. Many service providers are often booked up a year in advance. Music, photographers, churches, castles, ... everything has to be organized. The more time you give the wedding planner, the more options you will have.
Is a wedding planner expensive?
The question should be: What is it worth to me not to have stress? – selecting and coordinating various companies? – searching for churches, castles, or gardens? – choosing table decorations and jewelry? – ensuring that the doves don't fly away too early and many other endless points. It will be discussed with you which tasks should be taken over by me. My fee is transparent and can be viewed at any time. You should know in advance what to expect.
