Jewelry

Jewelry is a wonderful accessory for women and men alike. To ensure your jewelry stays beautiful for a long time, I have put together a few general tips on jewelry care:

Tips for jewelry

Jewelry does not like chemical agents

Jewelry is very delicate and should not come into contact with chemicals if possible. For example, rings should be removed when washing hands or doing dishes. Also, remove all jewelry when showering or bathing. Especially when swimming in the sea or a pool with chlorinated water, it is better to take off your jewelry. Unfortunately, jewelry loses its beautiful shine due to chemicals and liquids.

Jewelry does not like dirt

Remove rings and pieces of jewelry when doing housework or gardening. Not only do dirt and dust make the jewelry dull, but the risk of damaging these beautiful pieces is naturally much higher while working.

Remove jewelry when exercising

In general, jewelry should always be removed when exercising. Not only can it get dirty, but sweat is not particularly good for jewelry. Furthermore, especially in summer during physical exertion, joints can swell, causing rings to fit too tightly. Also, in the event of an injury, especially with rings, it is unfavorable if something is stuck.

Jewelry does not like cosmetics

Hairsprays and perfumes can cause jewelry to lose its shine. Therefore, use cosmetics, perfumes, or hairspray BEFORE putting on your jewelry.

Do not sleep with jewelry on

Jewelry should be removed before going to bed. At night, it can happen that your fingers swell and the ring fits too tightly.

Extra tip: Place a small jewelry box in the bathroom and always put your jewelry back in it in the evening, so you don't have to search for it in the morning.
