It is always nice when the table is beautifully set. When guests are expected, it can be a bit more elegant. Especially at Christmas, there are many ways to make the table look festive. We have a suggestion here for an elegant table decoration in silver, gold and white for Christmas:
Elegant Christmas table decoration
What you’ll need:
- white tablecloth
- transparent ribbons in gold and silver
- gold pearl necklaces (available in craft stores)
- white cloth napkins
- gold or silver paper napkins
- tree ornaments (e.g. stars or small Christmas baubles)
- place cards
- flat, round container
- large charger plate
- 4 candle holders
- 4 long-stemmed candles
- gold and silver Christmas baubles in matte and shiny, in large and small
- wide ribbon in gold or silver
- boxwood or mistletoe sprigs
- glitter birds to clip on (available, for example, at Interio)
- Lanterns
- star sequins
Instructions:
Fold the white cloth napkins lengthwise and wrap them with a smaller gold or silver paper napkin. Distribute the tree ornaments with place cards on top. The base colors here are white, gold and silver. A beautiful white tablecloth is spread out as a base. Transparent, wider ribbons in gold and silver run through the middle of the table. Now distribute beautiful gold pearl necklaces on top.
The centerpiece is a flat, round container that stands on a large charger plate. Place 4 candles in the middle of the container – either gold or silver. Fill the rest with matte and shiny gold and silver Christmas baubles. Wrap the container with a wide ribbon in one of the 3 theme colors, then you can decorate it with 4 bows and boxwood or mistletoe sprigs, which are simply tucked between the ribbon and the container. Decorate the gaps with small Christmas baubles and elegant glitter birds that can be clipped onto the plate.
You can then place a few beautiful lanterns on the table and scatter star sequins.
