A quick and often healthy way to eat vegetables is frozen vegetables. The vegetables are often frozen right after harvesting and therefore cannot lose their vitamins due to long transport routes. If you follow a few tips, they taste even better:
Preparing frozen vegetables
Hot water
Frozen vegetables taste fresh if you pour hot water over them right away. This washes away the freezing water and makes them taste better.
Season well
I quite like it when you add a bouillon cube (whether chicken, beef, or vegetable broth) to the water in which the frozen vegetables are cooking. Herbs also go very well with vegetables. This makes the vegetables taste even better.
