Children and adults alike usually enjoy pizza. To add a little variety, why not bake pizza muffins? They taste very good, are quick to prepare, and can also be prepared well in advance, for example for a child's birthday party. My family really enjoys this recipe, why not give it a try:
Recipe for pizza muffins
Pizza muffins are quick to bake and can be prepared very well in advance.
Ingredients:
- 140 g flour
- 120 g whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp pizza seasoning
- 1 bell pepper
- 1 onion
- 125 g mozzarella
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 40 g Parmesan
- 100 g salami
- 1 egg
- 50 ml olive oil
- 200 g buttermilk
- 110 g strained tomatoes
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 180° C top and bottom heat and grease the muffin tin with oil. Cut the bell pepper and onion into small cubes. Also cut the mozzarella and salami into small cubes. Finely grate the Parmesan and press the garlic finely in a garlic press. Put the whole wheat flour, flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and pizza seasoning in a bowl and mix. Now add the Parmesan, mozzarella, bell pepper, onion, garlic and salami and mix everything well so that everything is coated with flour. In another bowl, mix the egg, oil, buttermilk and strained tomatoes. Now add the flour mixture and mix everything well. Fill the wells of the muffin tin with the batter and bake in the oven at 180° for 20 to 25 minutes.
As a side dish, I recommend a salad or sauces.
