With a family, it is often the case that food needs to be on the table quickly. That is why this recipe is very good, as it is simple and quick. Fish is healthy and pangasius has no bones. However, you can also use plaice or another white fish without bones. The mustard sauce tastes very good and my children also like the mustard sauce. Here is the recipe to cook at home:

Pangasius fillet recipe with mustard sauce

Ingredients:

Quick dish for the whole family.

  • 4 pangasius fillets
  • 1 onion
  • 125 ml heavy cream
  • 1/4 l vegetable broth
  • 3 tbsp tarragon mustard
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 5 tbsp flour
  • 1 pinch of Vegeta (seasoning salt mixture)

Instructions:

Salt and pepper the fish fillets and drizzle with the juice of half a lemon. Then turn the fillets in the flour and let them brown well in a pan with a little oil. Remove the fillets from the pan. Finely chop the onion and sauté in a little oil in a high-sided pan. Pour in the vegetable broth and the heavy cream. Now add the mustard and let the sauce simmer a little until it thickens. Season the sauce with salt, pepper and possibly Vegeta. Place the fish in the sauce and let it steep briefly. Serve the fish with the sauce; rice or Ebly go very well with it.
