Often you intend to treat a stain with stain salt or a special detergent and then put the garment in the washing machine – but you forget. Here is a simple tip on how to make sure you notice the garment before washing:
Mark garment
Mark the stained garment, e.g., with a knot in the sleeve, so that it stands out before you put it in the washing machine.
Sort out garment
Or place it separately in a small laundry basket. Perhaps a few more garments that need to be pre-treated will collect over time. In a household with children, that happens very quickly :-).
Extra tip:If the stain is fresh, do not let it sit for too long; it is better to treat it immediately.
