Baking - Cakes in the baking tin

A homemade cake is always something special. Unfortunately, sometimes my cakes stick to their beautiful pans. That's why I want to give you some tips on how to prevent this from happening:

Cake releases more easily from the baking pan

Let it rest for a few minutes

To ensure the cake releases nicely from the pan, you should leave it in the oven for a few minutes after baking, and only then turn it out onto a wire rack. Especially with silicone molds, it should remain in the mold and cool for at least 5 minutes before being turned out.

Damp cloth

If it still sticks, wrap a damp cloth around the baking pan, then it will release more easily due to the formation of condensation.

Grease and chill

It is better to always grease the baking pan, sprinkle it with a little flour, and chill it in the refrigerator for a few minutes; this way, the fat cannot bond with the cake and ensures it releases better from the pan.
