Oil in the pan

When frying in a pan, there are a few tips to make sure everything really turns out wonderfully

Always put oil or fat into the hot pan

You should not put fat or oil into a cold pan. Always heat the pan well first and then add the oil or fat. This way, the delicacies to be fried do not stick as quickly.

Use pans with a thick base

Use pans with a thick base whenever possible, as they heat up well.

Use fats that do not overheat quickly

It is best to use fats that do not overheat as quickly, such as lard, sunflower oil, or rapeseed oil. All cold-pressed oils are unsuitable, as are fats that start to smoke too quickly when heated, such as butter.

  1. Why shouldn't you put oil into a cold pan? What happens then?

  2. Thanks for the comment, I forgot to give the reason. So mainly it is so that the food doesn't stick; whether it is also better for your health is still not entirely certain.
