The day after a party can really stir up the party spirit again. Alongside full ashtrays and wine glasses, there's often a nasty smell lingering in the room. You can easily smother the cigarette smell:
Vinegar water against cigarette smoke
What you’ll need:
- towel
- vinegar water
Instructions:
Soak the towel in the vinegar water, wring it out, and swing it back and forth in the room. You will see, the smoke is gone.
Damp cloths against cigarette smoke
However, you can eliminate the smell of smoke by hanging damp cloths in front of the window or attaching a damp sponge to the curtain. Both methods absorb the smoke and thus clean the air at the same time.
Prevent cigarette smell
Vinegar
To prevent the smell of smoke, put a bowl of vinegar in every corner of the room; vinegar binds the alcohol vapors.
Activated charcoal
Place small dishes of activated charcoal around the room; that also helps improve stale air.
Candles
Candles are also great, because they burn away the smoke.
Bird sand
Already bird sand into the ashtrays before the party. The embers are extinguished in no time and no nasty stench develops.
