Dome cakes look very elegant. There are many delicious different recipes for them. I just wondered, how do I shape them so nicely? Here, too, there is a simple household tip if you don't want to buy your own mold right away.
Make a dome cake with a colander
Line the round colander with cling film, now first line the colander with sponge cake, then pour in the cream. Let the filling set slightly and then cover with the remaining sponge cake. After a few hours of resting time, turn it out onto a plate. The work of art is finished!
