Amber jewelry

Jewelry with amber looks great, but frequent wearing can cause it to get dirty. Here I have a few care tips on how to clean this jewelry with household remedies and what you should watch out for so that the stone does not become cloudy:

Cleaning amber jewelry with household remedies

What you’ll need:

  • Soap
  • warm water
  • Polishing cloth
  • possibly breadcrumbs or almond oil

Instructions:

Mix the soap with the warm water and wash the jewelry with it. Then dry immediately and polish.Caution:Never leave the stone in water, otherwise it will become cloudy.

If there are grease stains on the amber, rub them off with either breadcrumbs or almond oil. Just do not put alcohol or any other solvent on it, as this will cause the stone to become cloudy.

Extra tip:Be careful with perfume and hairspray, as these can also cause the stone to become cloudy!
