Some women have their eyebrows plucked by a beautician – the majority, however, do it themselves. The procedure itself doesn't take very long, especially if the brows are still somewhat in shape but only need a slight correction. While some people wait to pluck their eyebrows until the hairs are clearly visible, others use tweezers almost daily. And this is apparently where the secret recipe lies: pluck more often – less pain!
The advantages of frequent plucking
Well-groomed eyebrows are the be-all and end-all in cosmetics. Therefore, regular plucking is also important to maintain the shape of the eyebrow structure. By plucking your eyebrows daily, you can also kill several birds with one stone
• The time required is minimized if you reach for the tweezers more often.
• The pain decreases, as plucking fewer hairs also means shorter pain phases.
• The shape is maintained longer and more beautifully.
So that plucking out the annoying hairs is not so painful, dab the areas beforehand with an ice cube.
Another useful tip: while plucking, lift the skin around the eyebrows with two fingers and keep it nice and taut. The hairs now stand up a little automatically. This makes it easier to grab the hairs with the tweezers and the pain is minimal compared to pulling the hairs out without tightening the skin.
Caution with shorter brow hairs: here it can quickly happen that you also get some skin in the tweezers. That means a big ouch. Therefore, do not pluck too frantically, but carefully and systematically. Then you will also have less pain.
