To make a children's party really fun, you should include a few games. A very popular game, especially with younger children, is 'Pot Knocking'. It doesn't require much preparation or many accessories:
Games for children's parties – Pot tapping
What you’ll need:
- Pot
- Wooden cutlery
- Sweets, small gifts
- Scarf, cloth (to blindfold the eyes)
Players:
no limit
Age:
3-8 years
Instructions:
A child is blindfolded with the cloth and given a wooden spoon. Meanwhile, a sweet or a small gift is hidden under a pot and placed somewhere in the room (watch out for fragile vases, etc.).
Then the blindfolded child must find the pot on all fours and knock on it. Of course, they are cheered on by the other children, and you can also give directions using 'hot' and 'cold'. As soon as they have found the pot and knocked on it, they can take the gift and it's the next person's turn.
