Everyone knows the problem: whether it happens with juice or milk from a carton, it doesn't really matter, because the spilling is annoying every time. It almost seems as if the milk carton is gasping for air or the juice container is getting the hiccups. You are no longer in control of the carton, and neither lifting it slightly nor first-class dexterity helps.
Result: you quickly need a cloth and have to clean the table, cup or glass, as well as the container. Otherwise, you end up with sticky spots and spill marks – in short: the spilling and splashing when you want to pour yourself a glass of juice is simply annoying. With a few tricks, however, pouring can be mastered with ease.
Pouring without spilling
So that everything doesn't get flooded when pouring, poke opposite the opening a hole. This way, nothing can go wrong.
How about, for example, a SAMIH? The SAMIH is a beverage carton holder that is available in various colors. Thanks to the special handle, the pressure is taken off the carton and the contents can be poured into a cup or glass without any spills.
If the carton does not have a helpful plastic opening and the flap has to be cut open, this cutting tip has proven its worth. Simply do not cut the flap straight with scissors, but at an angle. Also, always push the flap up; this way, the juice is guaranteed not to slosh over.
It is also helpful to turn the entire container – strictly speaking by 90° counter-clockwise. With this method, the carton has more space and lets the contents flow out with fewer glugs. This way, stains definitely have less of a chance.
