Pasta in salmon cream sauce

Pasta can be enjoyed with many wonderful sauces. But besides the classic tomato sauce or a good Bolognese, a salmon sauce is not to be underestimated. With just a few ingredients, you can conjure up such a delicious sauce that is guaranteed to please the whole family.

Recipe Pasta in salmon cream sauce

Ingredients:

  • Pasta/Spaghetti – 200 g per person
  • 60 g margarine
  • 3-4 tbsp flour
  • 300 ml milk
  • Salt & pepper
  • Garlic salt
  • 2 tbsp vegetable broth powder
  • Herbs: dill, parsley, or basil
  • 200 g salmon
  • 1 dash of cream/whipping cream

Instructions:

  1. Pasta in salmon cream sauceFirst, the pasta is added to boiling salted water and cooked slowly until al dente.
  2. In the meantime, melt the margarine in a sufficiently large pot, then add the flour and remove the pot from the heat. During this time, stir the margarine-flour mixture continuously until small lumps form. Now, gradually fold in the milk and continue stirring vigorously until a creamy béchamel sauce is formed. Depending on your taste, add salt, pepper, perhaps some vegetable broth powder, as well as garlic salt and a dash of cream, and stir well.
  3. Finally, add the diced salmon to the sauce and warm it up slightly. Finish by seasoning the sauce with herbs – dill is actually always suitable for fish dishes. However, if you don't like dill, you can also use parsley or basil. Now serve the pasta with the sauce and enjoy it warm.
