What should the litter box for the kitten look like?
First and foremost, the appearance of the litter box depends on the size of the new family member. A standard litter box is ideal for slightly larger cats, but is not suitable for kittens. The edge is so high that the little one cannot climb in at all, or only with difficulty. Once inside, it cannot or can barely see over the edge. However, cats are prey animals and do not like it at all when they cannot keep an eye on their surroundings. Therefore, for the first period, use a flatter plastic tray for kittens, which you fill with standard cat litter.
