Provence is famous for its lush lavender fields, so why not decorate the table in a French style with lavender? You can use lavender either dried (available at weekly markets) or fresh (your florist can certainly order it, or you can plant it in pots yourself). Here are instructions for a beautiful and simple table arrangement:
Make your own lavender table arrangement
What you’ll need:
- Lavender (dried or fresh)
- Floral foam
- Ribbons
- wide, elegant bowl
Instructions
A lush lavender arrangement is perfect for the center of the table. To make it, tie a large bouquet of lavender together with a beautiful wide ribbon and place it in the bowl. The more lavender you use, the more likely the arrangement will stand on its own. Otherwise, you can use floral foam to help.
You can place small lavender bouquets on the plates, held together with a nice ribbon. Of course, you can also weave other beautiful flowers, such as roses, in between the lavender.
With this quick table decoration, you can bring French charm into your dining room.
