Pork tenderloin is a very fine meat and often quick to prepare. My family likes it very much, so I tried this recipe out one weekend:
Recipe for pork tenderloin in mustard-chive sauce
Ingredients:
- 600 g pork tenderloin
- 200 ml whipping cream
- 1 tsp mustard (e.g., tarragon mustard)
- 1 pinch of sugar
- 1 bunch of chives
- Salt & pepper
Instructions:
Cut the pork tenderloin into approx. 1 cm thick slices and sear in a pan with a little oil. Season with salt and pepper and let rest on a plate in the oven at 160°C for approx. 10 minutes. Meanwhile, let the heavy cream, sugar, and mustard simmer in the pan. Sprinkle with chives and season to taste with salt & pepper. Add the medallions to the sauce and serve immediately.
Extra tip:Rice and vegetables go very well with this.
