Anyone who sometimes cannot fall asleep should try this apple cider vinegar and honey mixture.

Home remedy – Banishing insomnia with apple cider vinegar and honey

For this old home remedy, put 1/2 cup of honey with 3 tsp of apple cider vinegar into a sealable jar. Before you go to bed, eat 2 tsp of it. If sleep has still not set in after 1 hour, take another 2 tsp of it. Even if you wake up at night, keep taking 2 tsp of it. This is because the potassium, iron, and magnesium contained in the apple cider vinegar have a balancing effect, and the honey has a calming effect.

Another good drink for these complaints is a glass of water with 2 tsp of apple cider vinegar and 2 tsp of honey. Simply place it on your nightstand and drink it whenever you wake up at night.

Of course, if insomnia occurs constantly and you are tired all day, you should also rethink your lifestyle and perhaps even change it. Diet, psychological stress, or overstimulation are just a few things that can contribute to this.

  1. I have always reached for pills when I couldn't sleep, but I thought to myself that this is simply not a solution in the long run and went in search of natural solutions! Thank you very much for these tips; I have only tried warm milk with honey so far, which unfortunately didn't help, but perhaps my problem can be solved with apple cider vinegar!
