Anyone who would like an unusual table decoration in autumn or late summer, but doesn't want to spend too much money or invest too much time, can try using fruit.
Instructions for a fruity autumnal table decoration
The basic colors here are a simple white, as the fruits bring enough color to the table.
What you’ll need:
- white tablecloth
- white dishes
- large silver candlestick
- white long-stem candles
- ivy vines, vine leaves
- berries in all colors (red and green grapes in different sizes, red currants, blackberries, gooseberries or blueberries, and much more)
The table decoration
The table
Cover the table with the white tablecloth and lay out the dishes and napkins. Place the large candlestick in the middle of the table and fit it with candles.
The decoration
The elegant, large candlestick sits enthroned in the middle of the table. Ivy vines or vine leaves are laid out around it (they should also protect the tablecloth a little; if you want to be absolutely sure, you can also spread a little cling film underneath, but not all the way to the edge, otherwise it will be too visible). Then arrange berries in all colors on the foliage. Red and green grapes in different sizes look very beautiful. In between, you can also drape lovely red currants, blackberries, gooseberries or blueberries. There are no limits to your imagination.
If you don't want to place the berries on the tablecloth, you can also use an elegant, large bowl and arrange the fruits with the ivy as the centerpiece.

Hi!
And if the guests bring their pets, even the decorations will be eaten.
No, seriously – I once saw something similar as a decoration at someone's place. He had just scattered freshly cut grass on the table and placed apples (windfalls) on top. It looked quite pretty, except that the blades of grass kept sticking to your forearms.
