If you want to send very special cards for various occasions such as Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, birthdays, etc., it is best to reach for paper and scissors. Of course, it shouldn't be too time-consuming, but it should still look nice. Here are a few tips for this:
Make your own photo card

What you’ll need:
- Cardboard box
- Scissors
- utility knife
- Photo
- Adhesive
- Ribbons, flowers, etc.
Cut the cardboard so that it forms a foldable card. Then draw a motif on the cover sheet (e.g., a heart, a star, a rectangle, etc.) and it is best to cut it out with a utility knife. It should be about the right size so that the photo fits nicely into this frame. The photo is glued behind the frame with adhesive. The cover sheet can then be decorated with ribbons, stickers, drawings, or flowers.
What is this card suitable for:
Excellent for birth, engagement, baptism, wedding thank-you notes.
Make your own button card

Sounds strange, but has a great effect: cards with sewn-on buttons.
What you’ll need:
- Cardboard box
- beautiful buttons
- needle
- thread
Instructions:
Cut the cardboard into a card. Draw a motif on the cover sheet with a pencil (e.g., square, star, heart, etc.). Then use a needle and thread to sew the buttons on along the outline.
What is this card suitable for:
Beautiful card for Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, birthday.
Make your own card with beads

What you’ll need:
- Cardboard box
- a medium-thick and a thin wire
- Glass beads
Crafting instructions:
Cut the cardboard to card size again. Bend the medium-thick wire into the desired shape (e.g., circle, heart, cloverleaf, etc.) and thread the glass beads onto the thinner wire. The two ends of the medium-thick wire are wrapped tightly with the thin wire so that it cannot come undone (for the heart shape, it is best to let the ends converge at the top after the round bends and wrap them with the thin wire; you can also wrap a large glass bead inside so that it is not as visible). Then fix it to the card with hot glue.
What is this card suitable for:
Beautiful card for Valentine's Day or Mother's Day.

Thanks for the tips. I find the one with the button card very cute, will be implemented soon. For photo cards, I have also already found templates on the net that you can then design individually.
