Are you planning an Italian evening at your home and would like to invite guests in style with a card? If you want to make an original homemade invitation card with little effort, follow these instructions:
Homemade invitation card for an Italian dinner
What you’ll need:
- White cardboard
- Red and green felt-tip pens
- Nice cord or ribbon
- Pasta (farfalle, penne, etc.)
- Grill skewer
Crafting instructions for the invitation card for an Italian dinner:
Cut the cardboard so that a foldable card is created. On the cover page, e.g., at the top right or left of the page, indicate the Italian national colors with the felt-tip pens (it doesn't have to be an accurate line, it can just be hinted at). Poke a small hole in the middle of the 'flag' (best with a grill skewer), tie the cord or ribbon around the pasta, pull it through the hole in the card, and fix it on the back (make a knot and/or fix with glue).
You can then write 'Invitation' on the cover page, or even stamp it, and note the exact date, time, address, etc., inside.
If you like, you can also make menu cards in the same style and place them on the table.
