To have a nice-smelling room, it doesn't always have to be an expensive plug-in air freshener. Here we have plenty of tips on how to make the room smell good using household remedies:
Fragrant room
Light bulb and perfume
Simply spray the light bulb with a good Perfume. Every time the light is on, it gives off a pleasant scent.
Spruce oil
Distribute a few cotton or linen cloths that have been soaked in spruce oil. It is best to hide them nicely somewhere in the rooms. This lasts for months.
Orange or lemon peels
If you don't want a spruce needle scent, you can also place orange or lemon peels on the heater; this gives off a wonderful smell. If you have a fireplace, you can also throw these peels directly into the fire.
Scented oil in the vacuum cleaner
To make the rooms smell pleasant after vacuuming, drip a few drops of essential oil (lavender, mint, orange, etc.) into the air filter or vacuum bag, depending on your preference.
Rose petals with salt
To have a wonderful rose scent in your home, layer a few rose petals with Salt on top of each other in a nice glass. This way, you can save yourself the cost of an expensive room fragrance. You can buy the roses at markets or nurseries; they are cheaper if they are already almost wilted.
Potpourri
A potpourri comes in many colors and scents. It not only looks pretty, it is also much more environmentally friendly. Simply fill a nice bowl with the potpourri and place it in the desired room.
Soap
Many soaps smell very intense when you open them. Simply arrange the soap in a nice bowl and place it in the room.
Perfume
When your favorite perfume is empty, you can still place the empty bottle in the room. It still gives off a wonderful scent.
