How about bringing the Caribbean into your own home? A beautifully set table is not just for carnival. Theme parties or simply a nice evening for two can whisk you away to another world for a few hours. Menus are enjoyed even more with beautiful decoration. Here I have a few ideas to give your table a Caribbean flair:

The table should be white or light, but you can also prepare the surface accordingly with a thin white tablecloth or white lacquer foil.

Instead of a runner, sprinkle beige decorative sand in the middle of the table. It is best to place a transparent foil underneath so that you can easily remove it afterwards. Feel free to form a few hills and dunes with the sand. In between, weave in beautiful Candles, seashells, starfish, decorative fish etc. There are no limits to your imagination.

If you don't want to scatter sand loosely on your table, you can also fill beautiful flower pots or glass bowls with the decorative sand and put Tea lights, seashells etc. inside.

If you don't want any sand on your table at all, you can also use beautiful matching placemats.

If you want to arrange a fruit plate at the end of the table, you should definitely use coconuts or Pineapple. The whole thing can then be decorated with flower garlands (made of plastic, available in craft stores) or banana leaves.
