Tiles have to withstand a lot, especially in the hallway or kitchen. Unfortunately, there are always stains that are sometimes more or less difficult to remove. Here are a few tips on how to clean and care for tiles:
Cleaning and caring for tiles
Cleaning with vinegar
Vinegar can also remove stubborn stains from tiles.
Hair shampoo
And to get sparkling-clean tiles as well, add a little hair shampoo to the water. Wiping again or polishing is then completely unnecessary.
Polishing wax as a protective layer
Tiles become water- and dirt-repellent if they are rubbed with polishing wax after cleaning. Let the whole thing take effect for a few minutes and then—before it is completely dry!—polish with a soft cloth.
Remove stickers from tiles with margarine
Stickers that are on tiles or smooth surfaces can be removed wonderfully with margarine. To do this, simply rub the stickers with the margarine and then remove them.
