Smells from the drain are not uncommon. Because it is used several times a day, numerous bacteria can settle there, which can be responsible for unpleasant odors. With these tips, the bad smell will disappear:
Neutralize drain odor
Boiling soda water
Drizzling with boiling soda water you can, however, get rid of this stench excellently. Simply flush the drain with it! Caution, however, with plastic pipes: here you should first let the soda water cool to 60°C.
Vinegar
Occasionally adding a little vinegar to the drain is just as effective.
Borax
The unpleasant odor from drains in sanitary rooms can be remedied by flushing with water mixed with a tablespoon of borax.
