Not only are thermos flasks usually difficult to clean, but normal coffee pots can also have a rough coating on the inside. Here are a few tips for household remedies to get the pot nice and clean again:

Cleaning coffee pots

Lemon

For cleaning, you simply need a quarter slice of a lemon, which you place in the pot, pour hot water over it, and let it soak until the next morning.
Afterwards, simply rinse with water and you can enjoy your coffee to the fullest again.

Denture cleaner

A denture cleaner, such as from Corega or Kukident, can also clean a coffee pot nicely.

Simply dissolve the tablet in a water container and let the coffee pot soak with the mixture overnight, or pour the solution into the coffee pot and let it soak overnight as well. The next morning, rinse the pot thoroughly with water, and you're done.
