Leaky windows and doors cost money and heat! Unfortunately, it often happens that many windows are leaky, which leads to a large loss of heat. But how do you find these leaky windows?

Searching for leaks in windows

To find these weak points, you only need a burning candle. If you move it along the frame and the flame starts to flicker, then there is a draft at those points.

Sealing the windows

To eliminate these leaks, sealing strips (from the hardware store) help – preferably rubber ones, as they repel water and last longer than foam strips.
