When working in the garden or with children playing in the garden, a grass stain can easily occur. Unfortunately, these are often not quite so easy to remove. Here are a few household tips on how you can try:
Remove grass stains with household remedies
Alcohol
First moisten the grass stain with 70% alcohol, let it take effect, and only then rinse with cold water.
Diluted ammonia solution
Moisten the fresh stain immediately with diluted ammonia solution, let it take effect for a short while, and then rinse with cold water.
Dish soap
Apply normal dishwashing liquid to the dirty area (just a generous splash), work it in a little with a dish brush, and then wash the garment as usual.
Hand-washing detergent
Put a dab of hand-washing detergent on the stain, rub it in with a dish brush, and put it in the washing machine immediately.
Lemon juice
Rub the stain with lemon juice before washing and then wash as usual.
Hairspray
Spray the stain with hairspray and then wash as normal.
Butter
Rub the stains with butter and wash them out with soap and boiling water.
Ethyl alcohol
Grass stains in laundry can be removed by rubbing them with spirits. Then wash as usual in the washing machine.
