Cleaning gemstone jewelry with household remedies

Gemstones are something very special and always very expensive. Nevertheless, even these expensive little stones can lose their luster; we have collected tips here so that everything shines beautifully again:

Cleaning hard gemstones

What you’ll need:

• soft toothbrush
• Dish soap
• warm water
• Bowl
• soft (lint-free!) cloth

Instructions:

Mix the warm water with the dish soap in a bowl. Now dip the toothbrush into the soapy water and clean the pieces of jewelry with it. Then rinse well with warm waterand dry with the soft (definitely lint-free!) cloth.

Cleaning soft stones

What you’ll need:

• damp cloth

Instructions:

Soft stones such as lapis lazuli and amber, only polish with a damp cloth.
