Spring snowflakes as cut flowers

Daffodils in spring look so beautiful when all the snow finally melts away and the first harbingers of spring bloom. Therefore, it is tempting to pick them and put them in a vase, but be careful here, as daffodils have peculiarities:

Put daffodils in the vase alone at first

Since the stems of daffodils secrete a sticky sap, you should let them stand alone in water for a day and not mix them with other flowers. Alternatively, you can place them in hot water for about 5 minutes, then the "bleeding" stops.

Do not place daffodils too deep in the vase, otherwise they will absorb too much water and the flowers will become glassy.
