Plants - caring for a rubber tree

A rubber tree is very popular in our latitudes and is considered easy to care for. However, every plant has preferences, including the rubber tree, which we would like to briefly introduce here:

Care for a rubber tree

Location

The rubber tree needs a bright location but no direct sunlight. In summer, you can place it in a shady spot outdoors; in winter, it prefers an unheated room.

Watering

It should not be kept too moist; it is best to let the soil dry out a little on the surface. If the rubber tree receives too much water, it will increasingly shed its leaves.

Care

The leaves should be wiped with milk from time to time, which removes dust and gives them a beautiful shine. If the rubber tree loses leaves, you should cut a small notch with a razor blade directly above the break point. A new leaf will soon form there.
