Mark the beginning of the adhesive tape

Button

Simply stick a small button to the beginning; this also makes it easier to peel off the tape.

Paper clip

Stick a paper clip to the inside of the beginning so you don't have to search for it.

Flour

With a floured finger rub over the adhesive tape.
