After a while, managing a household with a baby is no longer as unfamiliar as it was at the beginning. The first period with a newborn is the most difficult time and has certainly had its fair share of stumbling blocks. This settles down after a few weeks and an initial routine sets in. If it is the first child, the young mother has become accustomed to handling the child. The adjustment for experienced mothers is also over now, and everyday life can resume. Nevertheless, a household with a baby is still subject to uncertainties because a baby can quickly cause a change in the daily routine. Once they are sitting up but not yet walking, babies need more and more attention and care. They are carried around, sit in a high chair at the table, or crawl across the floor. This, of course, makes a child-proof household necessary, and you cannot simply move around the house carelessly. However, keeping a constant, watchful eye on the child also means not always being able to concentrate fully on housework. Once the little ones start to walk, it becomes even more turbulent, and as a mother, you have your hands full and can never have enough eyes in your head.

Most women want to have their babies with them everywhere. Then they can also do the necessary housework and finish very quickly. A daily routine tailored to the child is nice, but it also requires the inclusion of other details such as cooking, shopping, and cleaning. With a little imagination and a will for individuality, this works out great and can even be fun:

• Cooking and preparing in the kitchen: Baby can sit in a playpen or high chair and is thus nearby
• Babies who cannot yet sit up lie in a bouncer or a cradle in the living room
• A baby carrier facilitates the mother's mobility
• The child's sleep phases are used individually

Here, every mother will find her own rhythm and, over time, apply the good household tips that can be read in many places today. This makes everyday life with the baby beautiful and interesting and offers plenty of room for leisure activities or walks.

Perhaps a babysitter is also an option?

A babysitter can be employed so that you can also dedicate time to your hobbies. For the mother, it means a break from the household with the baby; for the partnership, there can be moments of togetherness again. A trip to the theater or a visit to a restaurant becomes a relaxing experience thanks to the babysitter. Perhaps you can find a teenager who is happy to look after the baby for some pocket money. Grandma is also happy when she can take on the task.
