Make your own scrub

A scrub is a treat for the skin. Dead skin cells are removed, and the skin becomes beautifully tender and soft. Homemade scrubs are great because you know what is in them, and you also save money, as the ingredients are usually already in the household.

Homemade scrub with coconut oil, cane sugar and baked apple aroma

Ingredients:

  • 100 g coconut fat
  • 500 g cane sugar
  • 3 tsp baked apple spice
  • 1 clean jar with a screw cap

Instructions:

Heat the coconut fat in a pot until it is liquid. Add the sugar and the spice and mix well. Fill the mixture into a jar, press down lightly and seal. Done.

Application:

Apply the scrub to damp skin in the shower and massage it in with circular motions from top to bottom. Pay special attention to dry areas such as elbows and knees. Then rinse everything off well.

Extra tip: Of course, you can also make the scrub with other aromas: gingerbread spice or vanilla, etc.

Extra info: Cane sugar is ideal as a scrub because it has a grainy structure. Coconut oil nourishes dry areas.
