Homemade bath salt with sea salt, coconut oil and anise

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups coarse sea salt
  • 3 tbsp coconut oil
  • 15 – 20 drops of essential anise oil
  • possibly star anise
  • 1 clean jar with a screw cap

Instructions:

Heat the coconut fat in a pot until it is liquid, add the salt and the essential oil and mix well. Fill the whole thing into a jar and close it with a screw cap. If you like, you can also mix in a few decorative star anise – it looks great.

Application:

This recipe is enough for approx. 3 full baths.

Extra info:Anise loosens stubborn mucus from the bronchi and thus relieves colds. Furthermore, anise has a slightly antispasmodic effect, so this bath salt is a treat after physical exertion.
